Easter 2021

This year the Rhett and Laiklie were the only ones home to help dye eggs for the widow baskets. I ended up delivering most of them alone while the kids were at school. That was okay though....I wanted to visit with a few of the ladies when I did the drop offs anyway.

Easter fell on General Conference weekend this year. Yay! That is my favorite! Oakley and Logan even stayed the night so we were all together Sunday morning. The kids found their baskets and we enjoyed conference while snacking on candy. Such a beautiful day together.

*I'm not allowed to take a good picture of any of my kids. They ALWAYS pull a face when I try!

Easter Egg Hunt 2021

This year was the first year we didn't do our annual Easter Egg Hunt with the Hawkins family, and instead decided to spend it with the Jacobson's. The sun was FINALLY shining and we were able to help mom out onto the deck so she could watch her grandkids, big and little, gather eggs. The kids helped scatter the eggs.....then then helped gather the eggs. HAHAHA! Even the teenagers loved it. It was so fun for the entire family (other then Jake's family and Kaden & Abby) to be there. What a good day! Mom was able to stay outside long enough to watch the egg hunt and eat some dinner before she got too cold. The grandkids stayed out and played together for hours.
Especially this year as we battle cancer as a family we are reminded just how sweet the gift of the resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ is. What a blessing knowing we can be together forever if we live right. We are so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan to make it all possible.

Goodbye Party

Laiklie grew up with a great group of friends through her elementary years and even into Jr High. The past couple years have been a little trickier for the girls to get together and see each other with them all doing different activities and having different teams at school, but when we found out one of them was moving we knew we had to get them back together one last time. The first picture is from their last day of 6th grade and the 2nd picture is their reenactment of it. They've changed a little, but just 2 short years later are still very much the same.

Taylor is going to be very missed. We had to deck her out with Idaho gear so she remembers where she belongs! Hopefully she'll be home to visit soon.

Spring Break 2021

My sweet sister Arnica agreed to let Tyce and Danica miss a couple days of school so that our spring breaks somewhat aligned allowing these crazy kids to spend 5 full days together. We went swimming at Heise, they went to open gym at Flips and shopping at the mall, we tie dyed shirts and got manicures/pedicures. They stayed up late and ate a ton of junk food and had an absolute great time together! What a blessing cousins are!

State Champs

Rhett seriously has THE BEST FRIENDS! Cute Maddi and Lily came over after they heard that we were the state cheer champs and decorated the front porch and driveway. What a fun surprise as we drove up that night. Such awesome friends!

State Cheer 2021

Rhett had State Cheer on March 19th and we were SO EXCITED for him and his team and even more excited that we got to be there to watch him! It was incredible to watch them perform there very best and then nerve wracking to sit and wait hoping it was enough! Such an awesome thing to even qualify for state and they really did well performing that day. We were ecstatic when they announced that the Bonneville Bees were the A4 State Champions!! We seriously couldn't be more proud of Rhett and his hard work this season!! It is a great year to be a BEE!

Dallin

I always have to sneak any pictures I take of Dallin or I get in trouble. I love this kid though. Even when he's grumpy! ;) He amazes me with his skills. He does a lot of buying and selling...sometimes much to his mama's dismay, but truthfully he really is good at what he does. These tires are one of those "want" purchases he made that his mom didn't really think was necessary, BUT he works very hard for his money and every once in a while a "wants" purchase isn't too bad especially when he does all the work to put them on. :)

A Few Pics with Grandma

We've been trying to get as many pics with grandma every chance we get. We are so grateful she was able to regain some strength so that so many of the grandkids have been able to visit her and spend some extra time together. Here are just a few pics I had on my phone.

50 Years!

Mom and Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary is coming up this summer and while Arnica was at their house she found out it had been 50 years since they had first met. We decided we couldn't let this 50 year first meeting (March 12th) anniversary go unnoticed, so we celebrated by sending out everything they would need for a date night including a new movie, popcorn, candy and of course balloons! What an incredible accomplishment! We can't wait to celebrate their actual 50 year wedding anniversary with them this summer!

Volleyball Tourney

For one of our volleyball tournaments when Aunt Arnica was at grandma's we got to take Danica with us to Utah. So fun! She hadn't been to alot of volleyball games so she asked alot of questions. She was so good at supporting Laiklie and yelling from the sidelines with me. So fun to have her! Everything is better with cousins!
