2nd Half of Spring Break

We spent the second half of spring break helping Ryan put a floor in a grain bin in Blackfoot. It was so cold and the wind about blew us away. It was good to spend a few days playing and a few days working. It’s good to teach our kids balance.

Spring Break 2022

Rhett and Laiklie and I spent the first part of spring break in Utah. Laiklie had a two day volleyball tournament in Lehi so we stayed Saturday night at Oakley and Logan‘s house and drove to Saint George on Sunday. We spent all of Monday in St. George and drove home on Tuesday. The nicer weather and the warm sunshine felt fabulous! We were able to hike, shop, swim at the hotel, and watch a movie at the theater while we were there. We also stopped to see the Cedar City Temple and the St. George Temple. Such a fun few days together.

Oakley’s Baby Bump

We are getting SO EXCITED for this sweet little boy to get here! It’s been fun to watch Oakley’s little belly grow.

Club Volleyball

February - May has been filled with club volleyball. We have chased Laiklie everywhere from Boise to South Utah. We love watching her play ball! She has grown so much and is getting to be such an incredible hitter. We love #8!

Idaho State Dance Competition

In March we had the Idaho State Dance Competition in Pocatello. Our teams did really well! Laiklie and Ellie rocked their duets. It was such a long, long day but so totally worth it. It was the first Pocatello dance competition Oakley didn’t attend since she was eight years old. We definitely missed her.

State Cheer Banner Signing

They did the state Cheer banner signing during a pep assembly this year. I was babysitting the neighbors kids so I couldn’t go. Laiklie took a few pictures for me. Sad I had to miss it, but so proud of Rhett and his team!

Dad’s Office/Bathroom Remodel

My mom and dad decided before cancer and Covid hit that they wanted to remodel the office and bathroom. Cancer and Covid delayed that. In February dad was able to get somebody to come take down the panel and paint the office. So us kids took care of helping get it put back together, decorated and the bathroom redone. They both look so nice!

Little Jake’s

In February my dad went to visit an old mission companion and he handed these pictures to my dad from when we were little and he had a visited. I love them so much! I’m the baby.
