This Guy...

This guy right here is the love of my life! Sixteen years ago today he took me to the temple.....well, my mom and dad took me to the temple....but I left with him and have never looked back! Ryan is easy to love.  He is mellow and laid back and wants what I want.  He does anything he can to make me happy.  He is an incredible dad to our kids.  He loves them and he shows them that love.  He wants to be with them and share in their happiness.  Ryan works so hard from sun-up to sun-down just like my dad and I absolutely love that about him.  He loves his Heavenly Father and lives an obedient life.  He is found where he is suppose to be when he is suppose to be there.  He blesses our lives in so many ways.  What an incredible gift my Heavenly Father gave me when he gave me Ryan! I love you Ryan! Happy 16th Anniversary!

Cows

Well....no pictures...but we sold almost our entire herd of cows Monday! Ryan and his dad decided to down size their herds this year while the prices are good and believe me I didn't object!! This time of year is bad for the cows pushing the fences and getting out.  A week or two ago on a Sunday morning I get a phone call about my cows being out at the same time I looked out the window and saw them out.  Of course Ryan was at bishopric meetings and I was already in my dress ready to go! I jumped on the four-wheeler, dress and all, and Dallin hurried and changed back into jeans and ran out and helped me.  It was mostly calves (calves are SO DUMB!) that were out and it took us a couple try's to get them in, but Dallin and I are a pretty good team and got it done.  I am grateful that we have had the cows because of the lessons we have learned and been able to teach our kids by having them, and I always wanted to marry a "cowboy" but I am not going to lie....I am glad to see them go!! At some point we will start to build the herd back up again but for now I am happy for the break!

Speaking of the wind...

that darn Idaho wind is incredible.  We had this mess last week at our rental house.  We got most of it cleaned up, but the main branch is SO HEAVY Ryan hasn't dared drive the tractor on the wet lawn to pick it up because of the damage he might do to the yard.  We have several more trees we need to get down before the next big wind storm or we might end up with one of these in the roof of the house!

Last Night of Skiing

I know these are all crooked. My computer won't rotate them. :( The school did one more night with the ski program the same night as the boys were at hunters safety and so I sent Laiklie with Aunt Yvonne and the girls and I kept the baby and stayed home to run Oakley to dance.  Laiklie had so much fun! Of course!!

Our February this year has been weird.  It has been almost 50+ degrees EVERYDAY! The snow melted and left us with a muddy mess.....I HATE MESSES! and then the wind blew and dried everything out and so now it looks and feels like spring IN FEBRUARY!! So that put a quick end to skiing.  My 3 little kids absolutely LOVE to ski and I feel bad they only got to go 3 times this year.  We just had too short of a winter! Darn it!

Hunters Safety

Rhett needed to take Hunters Safety this year and since Dallin hadn't done the Bow & Arrow course Ryan signed them both up.  We decided to invite the cousins Kaylyn and Haylee (my cousin Kyle's girls that go to school with the boys) to do it with us! What a great idea!!
I love these 4 kiddos!! Dallin, Kaylyn, Rhett and Haylee

After the kids got to shoot, the dads did too.  hahaha! Ryan is in the blue sweatshirt/red hat next to Kyle.
 And they ALL PASSED!!
Yay for hunter orange hats! And to Jessica for all the pictures!
 Dallin receiving his hat!
Rhett receiving his hat!

Stan's 60th

Ryan's dad, Stan had his 60th birthday on February 1st this year.  We decided as a family to take him bowling.  What a blast! We bowled til we were all sore the next day!
Dallin, Ciara, Ryan, Laiklie, Tara and Paityn in the back ground.
Stan and Linn....what an lucky girl I am to have these two as my in-laws!
 Rhett
The big girls sucked at bowling so they walked next door to Artic Circle for ice cream.:)
 Chase and Memory

Tara and Yvonne's turns happened to fall at the same time each round and they would fight over who got "the best ball" to bowl with.  Silly girls! I am the one who picked that ball out in the first place! hahaha!
What a fun night celebrating Stan's birthday! The kids loved seeing grandpa bowl!
