Happy Birthday Oakley

Oakley turned 19 on August 1st. For the first time in several years Oakley was actually kind of around for her birthday. She went to breakfast with her friends, then spent the afternoon shopping and having lunch with me and Laiklie. Lauren surprised her that night by taking her up to their RV that they had parked at Rigby Lake. They actually had so much fun they ended up staying 2 nights in the camper.
We are so blessed to have Oakley in our family. It has been so fun watching her grow and mature into this amazing young lady. She is constantly looking for an adventure and lives life to the fullest. We are so proud of who she is becoming. Happy Birthday Sis!

My Little Garden Grazer

I'm never surprised to look out my window and see Laiklie out there in the pea patch. This was were I found her most mornings this summer eating her fill of peas for breakfast. :)

Bigs and the Littles

We had the babies a few times this summer. I love when I hear little girl screams and giggles and look out the window to find my bigs playing with them. They even talked big D into getting on the tramp with them this afternoon. Cousins are the best!

Girls Camp 2019

Laiklie got to go to girls camp this year for her first time. She was SO EXCITED!! I was so excited for her. I know what happens at girls camp and you can't get that experience any other place in this world. I was a little jealous (like I am EVERY year there is girls camp and I don't get to go!) until the Stake Leaders called and asked if I would come up for an afternoon and talk to the girls about friendship. I was nervous, but couldn't wait to spend an afternoon at girls camp!! It did not disappoint! I got to eat lunch and hangout with our ward for a little while after doing my presentation. It was just what I needed....and when Laiklie got home at the end of the week I could tell it was just what she had needed too.

Surprise 40th Birthday Party

On July 23rd my mom had put together a family party since my sister Jenny was here for a few days. We had all planned to get together at my parents house for the afternoon and dinner. Just before dinner things got a little weird and I could tell that everybody knew something that I didn't know. I was wondering what in the world was going on when everyone bust into the Happy Birthday song. My crazy family! They had planned a surprise 40th birthday party for me without me knowing. They had everything needed for a party including a depends birthday cake with every old person thing one would need... reading glasses, foot powder and hemorrhoid cream. My brother Shane had been asked by my mom to entertain us so he came up with a Natalie's 40 Rap. Hilarious! Everyone joined in during the chorus. Such funny people! I really had no idea they had planned this. It was so sweet of them. We even had cake to finish off the night. I am a very blessed girl. 💓

Micheal

About a year ago our friends Michael and Tyler Dolgosh moved away to Indiana. Michael has especially been so homesick for Idaho and truthfully I think more for friends and the ward family. We pinched pennies and figured out a way to get him here for the week of the priest high adventure. Him and Dallin went boating, hiking and floated the river with the other priests for 3 days. We also took him to shoot guns, to the movies with friends, to the regional stake dance, shopping and anything else we could squeeze in while he was here. It was so hard to send him home knowing he was headed back to such a hard situation, but we loved the few days we got to spend with him.

Fun with Friends

My friend Heather called to see if we wanted to go hiking with her and the girls. We grabbed Sage and Violet and ran up to Cress Creek.  What's hiking if it's not followed up by Orange Leaf?!?!

"Mom Come Take Our Picture"

Oh, Rhett and Laiklie, you wear me out! 😂😂

Summer Nights

Summer nights are my favorite. They are even better on a bike ride with a sunset.
