High School BFF’s

In April my sweet friend Katie‘s (on the right) son got married. Her twin sister Heather happened to be at the reception when we stopped in that night. Heather & Katie grew up with me at the sheep station. We spent K-12 grade together as best friends. I’m so grateful for lifelong friendships. It’s always fun to see them together. 

 

Dying Easter Eggs

Laiklie and her friend Andrew dyed all my eggs for our  Elderly baskets this year. The other teenagers were kind of stinkers about it, so I was glad they were willing to help! 

 

Prom 2022

Rhett asked his friend Erica to Prom this year. They had a great night together! They kept it simple…no day date and dinner at Chick-fil-A. 

 

Mr. Bonneville

 In April Rhett was asked by one of his good friends to be a part of Mr. Bonneville. He was super hesitant and didn’t decide to fully do it until the day of the show. Once he was committed though, he was all in! He even wore a cowboy costume and jumped sticks for his talent portion and answered his interview question about how Barb the ‘burban is his favorite car. Hahaha! I’m so glad he chose to participate. I just wish I got more pictures of the night. 

End of Year Cheer Banquet

 Rhett’s end of the year cheer banquet was great again this year. I always love the awards they give at the end representing each cheerleader. Rhett’s is always so fitting and always makes me tear up. Rhett had a rough year with cheer this past year. For most of the season he was the only boy. He was asked to do some hard things and rose to the occasion. I couldn’t be more proud of him! 

Mom’s Headstone

In March they were able to place moms headstone. Jenny, Arnica and I spent a few days working at dads sorting, cleaning and organizing so we were able to go over together to see it for the first time. We took a lot of selfies with mom so we had to try and get another one. Lol
