Rhett & Raegan

For Raegan‘s birthday we made her this cute book of pictures from Kindergarten to Senior year. I loved the side-by-side of the front and back cover. I’m so grateful for these two and their sweet friendship over the years!

A Day with the Girls

I got to watch Chase and Yvonne‘s little girls one day while she hiked. We had a great day together! We had a picnic at the park and then went and walked the Greenbelt before heading to Arctic Circle for ice cream. We finished the afternoon off with water and bad mitten in the yard. We miss these three Littles living next-door, so we enjoy the time we get to spend with them!

Dallin

I was out weeding the garden the other day, when I heard somebody climbing up the grain bin. When I looked over, it was Dallin. I have to remind myself all the time that he is 20 years old! I still think of him as my little boy, and it scares my mama heart to have him up on the bins. I also have to remind myself that it’s so much safer to have HIM up there than his dad, uncle Dale, or grandpa! He’s a great kid. I love seeing the man he’s turning into!

Laiklie

“Mom, I’m ready to go to town!”
Me: Are you sure?!?!
“Yep!”
Hahahaha! I had to take a picture of her to show her how unready she was to go to town. ;)

First Hike of the Summer

Oakley got to stay a few extra days with us at the beginning of June after the family reunion. One of the things she really wanted to do while she was here was hike. Her sweet mother-in-law kept baby Jax so her and I could go. We found a 4 mile hike near ririe. We didn’t make it quite to the top. Her blood sugar was not cooperating. :( We got close enough though that we got to see some gorgeous views! It was fun to spend the morning together!

Sisters

When I was pregnant with Laiklie I worried about my girls being friends since there would be a six year age gap. They have always been tight. I love watching them together. Such good friends. When Oakley was visiting, Laiklie convinced her to wash her hair in the sink. It was fun listening to them giggle while they did it. Such funny sisters!

Jacobson Family Reunion 2023

This year‘s family reunion was hosted by Shane and Diane. We started Friday night with dinner and visiting/catching up. Saturday morning we hiked the Menan Butte. That afternoon we had a wagon tractor ride along with some water games for the kids, going through old pictures we put in albums from moms and a craft. That evening we did family history skits. They were so fun! On Sunday, we were able to go to church at our stake with a special stake conference where D. Todd Christofferson spoke. It was a great weekend together. We always love spending time as a family! What a great tradition mom and dad started years and years ago.
