Week with Jax

Oakley got to travel to Coeur d’Alene to spend a few days with her cousin Ali. So we got to keep Jax. Oh my word, we sure love our time with this little baby!

Farming 2023

Each summer I have to sneak a few pictures of my farmers. I love watching them do what they love. My favorite is when I get pictures of Ryan and Dallin together talking through what needs to be done.

Great Grandpa Max

I love this picture! Linn took it at Ember‘s baptism. I had to speak at the baptism, so I had a one track mind and didn’t get any pictures. I was so grateful when Linn sent this one to me of Dallin, JD  and their great grandpa! What an incredible man these boys have to look up to. I love that over the years they’ve gotten as tall as he is.

Extra Kids

Having extra kids at my house is seriously the story of my life! I love having a houseful. The first two pictures are my niece Camille‘s two little boys. I got to watch them during my niece Madeline‘s wedding. Of course I don’t have any pictures of the wedding.:( They absolutely loved their ride in the swather with Dallin.
The next picture is my ministering sister, Susan’s three little kids. She coached volleyball, so I got to keep them and take them into the volleyball games occasionally with me. And the last picture is my neighbor Kendra‘s little girl, Corra. Corra and I have a special little friendship. She gets to come over occasionally when her mom needs a babysitter. I do love every opportunity to fill my house with littles again. And… apparently I’m good at wearing them out. Hahaha!

Moving Day for the Boys

Hard to believe that these two cute little brothers are ready to start college together. At the beginning of September, we moved them into their new apartment. It will be Dallin’s 2nd year at BYUI and Rhett’s 1st. They were excited for the change. I was nervous about them living alone together without their mom there to referee their fights. I’m praying they will get along, and no one will throw punches! I sure love these two! My house will be so quiet without them.

Volleyball 2023

Laiklie had a great volleyball season this year with the school. They originally put her on the JV team because we had so many seniors. She only played one set with the JV before they ended up pulling her to varsity. For the majority of the season she started with the varsity. She had such an incredible year and such an amazing opportunity to play with so many incredibly talented seniors. She did a lot of growing this year. Just before districts and state, they put her on the bench because they had switched rotations. It caused a lot of mental hardship. She had a lot to work through to overcome the hard and be able to cheer on her team. We are so proud of her and the growth she has made this year! We can’t wait to see where her senior year takes her next year.

College Roomie Dinner

At the end of August, one of my very best friends and roommates from college Amanda, contacted me letting me know that her and her sweet husband Milton were going to be in Yellowstone for the week. She asked if we could get together for dinner. We decided to meet at one of our favorite college diners, Big Judds. It was so fun to get together and catch-up after 20 years!
