Thanksgiving Turkey

Tara, Ciara and I decided this year to paint the pumpkin bales into a Thanksgiving turkey for Linn as a surprise. It was cold as usual, but so fun! & it turned out super cute!

That's a Wrap

And that's a wrap on volleyball! Laiklie started as an itty bitty 2nd grade volleyball player and now has finished her last season. What a run!
The incredible coaches she's been blessed with and friendships she's made along the way are what we will take with us and treasure forever!

Senior All-Star Game

Laiklie had the neatest opportunity. She was one of two seniors from Bonneville that were picked to play on the Senior All Star team. It was incredible! The jerseys didn't matter. There were plenty of hugs, high fives and butt slaps to go around to complete strangers as they became a team. So fun to watch! Her team was made up of girls from Madison, Bonneville, Butte, Challis and Salmon. It was the perfect way to end her volleyball career.

Volleyball Photoshoot

This post is out of order a little...but I wanted to make sure and include it.
Rhett was amazing and did a senior photo shoot for the volleyball girls. We ended up using the pictures for senior night. They turned out so good!! We got SO MANY comments and compliments on how they turned out.

State Volleyball '24

We were so excited to make it to state this year! It was a build back year after losing 6 seniors last year. I don't think anybody thought there was any way we would make it to state. I was so proud of these girls for proving, mostly to themselves, that they could do it! They weren't just riding last year's seniors coattails. They had it in themselves too! We ended up taking fifth place. Not quite what we wanted, but again, we were just so blessed to be there. It was a great way to end Laiklie's senior volleyball season!

Halloween

For Halloween this year, Laiklie and her friends decided to dress up as their teachers. Hahaha! Her state volleyball tournament actually started on Halloween day. Luckily, it was in Idaho Falls this year. So she got to go to school for just a few minutes before she had to head to volleyball. I didn't get any pictures of our little Jax man in his fire truck costume or his skeleton pajamas. Just this one of him with his jack-o'-lantern. Such a cutie! He got to go to his moms classroom party for Halloween too.

Cousins Weekend

My cousin Nanette decided that she wanted to come up and spend her birthday weekend with me again this year. So we invited Mindy over too. We went to lunch and out for pedicures together. And, of course… I had to buy matching Cousin T-shirts for the occasion! Nanette and I planned to go to the haunted house that was in the basement of the furniture store that we found last year. We went and browsed the furniture store, and when we went to head downstairs, the haunted house wasn't there this year. We were devastated! We had planned our whole weekend around that haunted house and it wasn't even there this year. We still had a great time visiting and being together though.
