On August 21, 2017 we got to witness a full eclipse. We just happened to live right in the path of totality. It was incredible!! What a neat experience. We loved using our eclipse glasses to watch the different stages of the moon covering the sun. The shadows, temperature drop and total coverage were all amazing. Such a neat thing to witness and we were so lucky to live right where it occurred.
After the eclipse we decided to try our luck at fishing and headed to the ranch.
It is always fun when Uncle Dale comes with us. He was putting his fishing pole up to his ear and "listening" for the fish! Hahaha! Such a funny dude! The kids were eating it up! We did luck out and caught a couple great big ones and a few we were able to save and throw back. All in all a great day!
