I LOVE where we live! I could do this EVERY NIGHT and be one happy girl!

A few pics from Italy

My favorite days while Oakley was gone were the days I heard from her.  They were few and far between.  We only got to hear from her when they would randomly find wifi. I loved getting pictures and updates.  Here are just a few. The boy in the pictures with Oakley and Brooklyn is Brook's brother Josh who got to go last minute when one of the other boys got a job offer he had to accept. They had a great time together. Such a neat experience. 

One of the festivals they were at was a 10 day festival. They had 2 Sunday's open where they didn't have to perform. One of the tour moms found a church nearby on an army base which was actually an American ward and the sweet ward members sent over enough vehicles to drive all 24ish of them to the ward TWO SUNDAYS in a row. I loved that Oakley got to attend church in Italy. A world wide church is such a blessing! And the wifi password was even the same! HAHAHA! Which was also a blessing so I got to hear from her while she was at church! :)

Lyrics for Life & Beyond

My dad finally got his poems published in a book.  He wasn't able to come with my mom to pick them up so she stopped and grabbed me and Laiklie to help. We celebrated with Scotty's milkshakes. Such a neat thing to have so many of his poems in one place.

We were sitting around one night and I was looking at how big all my kids feet have gotten. So we decided to see whose were bigger. Rhett's is the first picture, then Laiklie, then the gigantic one at the end is Dallin's. Hahaha! Laiklie beat me by a big toe....this officially means everyone in the house has bigger feet than their mom! What?!?!

It's not summer unless we spend atleast one or two afternoons in the water on the lawn. We are so blessed to live where my kids get to have this life!

And She's Off...

Oh this girl holds my heart! It was gut wrenching sending her to Italy for a month, but such an INCREDIBLE opportunity. I would never hold her back from something like that! It took alot of work and answers to several prayers to get things together for her. Especially diabetic supplies. Trying to figure our how to keep enough insulin cold for a month without a fridge is tricky, but we did it! Oakley loves to see the world, and the world is lucky to get to see her dance. I'm so proud of her!

Final Performance

Oakley's Italy Tour team did one final friends and family performance.  Rhett took his camera and took 100's of pictures. Here are a few of our Oakley girl!
