Senior Parade

Dallin had the neatest opportunity the week before graduation. They brought back all the Ucon Elementary seniors to walk the halls while all the little kids cheered and high fived them. It was seriously the coolest thing! While there they got a donut breakfast, one last dodgeball game in their cap and gowns LOL, to visit each of their past teachers (Dallin only had Mrs. Gomez still there), tour the schools attic (every kids dream!), and they even hit the playground as they left. I was so glad I got to go over and watch Dallin reconnect with old friends, giggle and have a great time together. They didn't want to leave and infact several of them went to breakfast together afterwards. Such a fun day!

Yard Helper

I taught Laiklie how to weed whack the other day and I'm super excited that that gets to be her job now for the summer! :) Yay for yard help!

Nationals 2021

Nationals is always a good time! We missed it last year due to covid, so it was great to be back! Even better to have incredibly gorgeous weather for the weekend! The girls did such a good job and we had a blast dancing and riding rides and just being together.  This year was new in that we brought Oakley's HUSBAND with us! Who knew a year ago that she would be married now and tagging along a husband with us to these kinds of things?!?! He was a trooper and just followed her around. Oakley also got to catch-up with her bestie Brooklyn. They even danced their solos together again. They have always danced better together!

At the end of the weekend we came home with TWO ALL STAR ALL AMERICANS! I'm so proud of both my girls for working hard to make the All American Team. We didn't know that it would happen this year since neither of them have had much time to devote to clogging, but they did it and we are so proud!

Paige's Wedding - May 12, 2021

We are so excited for Paige and Riley! Oakley got to do her make-up wedding morning and I got to help with her braid. It was so fun to be in the house that morning as everyone was getting ready! She was absolutely stunning!

I was once again blessed by getting to be in the temple that morning with her. I took the seat that would have been my moms and I cried as my dad sealed these two for time and all eternity knowing that my mom was missing it. What a beautiful ceremony and special day.
I also got to be the helper that afternoon. I ended up holding 4 of the giant cupcake boxes on my lap as we drove to the reception. It was hilarious! I was squished into the back seat with these huge boxes. Hahaha! so funny!
Such a beautiful day! Congratulations Paige! I am so proud of this girl for working so hard to be able to be in the temple with her sweet Riley. I'm so glad she found true happiness! Sure love her!

Home Repairs with Dad

With spending so much time at mom and dads we have had a few interesting days. This day I sent dad under the house to see where the funky smell in the bathroom keeps coming from. We found out the previous owners never put a P trap on the pipes when they plumbed it. I also learned just how scared of snakes my dad is. ;) We lucked out and he didn't see any thank goodness.

We also had a day that the sump pump stopped working in the basement and we had to figure out together how to reset it after cleaning up the flood it caused. I was also there the day he had to climb on the roof to repair a place against the chimney that was leaking into their attic. Mom was so stressed she made me go take a picture so she could see if he was being safe or not. Hahaha. Sweet mom worried about him. What a blessing it has been to spend so much time with my parents.

Dentist Appt

Just a regular old dentist appt where Laiklie steals my phone and leaves me 30+ selfies and videos. Such a funny kid! She not only took pics of herself, she got several of me and Rhett too. So random. Hahaha!

Volleyball

This girl has been playing her guts out this club season. The 2 of us have spent SEVERAL weekend traveling back and forth to games. Her and her team have come so far and we have seen so much improvement! I'm so proud of her. I could watch her play ball all day everyday.
