So this is how my night went last night...
11 pm TV off drift off to sleep
11:59 pm phone call from a neighbor that a calf is on the road - Ryan has already taken his sleeping pill and is out cold for the night.
12:00 am head out to get the calf in all by myself - TERRIFIED!!
12:05 am realize it is not one lone calf, it is the entire herd of cows
12:06 am call nice brother-in-law to come help me
12:15 am brother-in-law arrives just in time to see me finishing getting cows in all by myself
Oh, forgot that somewhere at about 12:12 am Ryan comes staggering out - walking like a drunk with no coat on to see if I have gotten the "calf" in yet. He gets yelled at by his not so happy wife to go back to the house before he falls down and gets hurt on the ice.: (
12:30 am back in to my cozy bed
12:31 - 2 am lay awake too wired from cow chasing
2:40 am awake with Rhett because he needs a kleenex for his runny nose
2:45 am awake with Rhett again because he has lost his kleenex
5:51 am awake with Laiklie - diaper change and milk and back to bed
7 am awake and in the shower for a wonderful day at church - which after two children awoke with fevers and the one with the runny nose decided at 8:05 am not to attend church today.: (

Sis, you must be related to that woman who is the equivalent of 3 physically capable adults! You Rock! Hope you got some sleep (during the superbowl?).
Oh WOW! Good for you to outside and do that! Hope Ryan treated you extra special the next day.

I would most certainly agree that is a BAD NIGHT! You poor sweet girl, is there anything you cannot handle? I'm proud of you calling for help-its what smart people do. You are a treasure and I love you!
I'm so proud to see you grow into a rancher wife. Until you have chased cows by yourself in the dark, you just can't understand! You go girl! Hope things get better!
