Dallin received his mission call on October 19, 2021. He got the email early that morning while he was alone hunting on the mountain. He opened it without us knowing. Later that day he confided in me that he’d received it and that he was going foreign. He was very torn…he hadn’t wanted to get vaccinated for COVID so he was planning to stay in the states. He had a BIG decision to make about trusting the Lord and going or asking to be reassigned. He decided that night, still unsure of what to do, that he would read his call to his parents, siblings and grandparents. Dallin was called to the Accra, Ghana Mission. The same exact mission his lifetime buddy and cousin Colton is serving in. I have felt at peace since he opened it and have felt like them being called to the same mission is not coincidence. Dallin has decided to trust in the Lord and accept his call to Africa. We are so proud of him and excited (nervous!) for him. He is such an incredible young man and I know his testimony will grow as he serves the people of Ghana. We sure love him.
