This summer Oakley REALLY struggled with her mental health. It was definitely one of the hardest summers of our lives. She spent a lot of time in Idaho and I made a lot of quick trips to Utah. While I was there, we spent some time in their pool at the apartment, and we even ventured out one day on a hike. The hike was only a few miles, but Jax wouldn't ride in the backpack for more than the first few minutes. He wouldn't let Oakley carry him, so I ended up caring him the whole time. The heat was absolutely exhausting. We definitely enjoyed spending time together this summer though, even through all the hard.
