On June 9th we planted our first grass seeds. We only planted the west side of the house because it is the part of the lawn that we can flood without any extra work. We were so excited to get the seed in the ground. It was a HOT summer and we had to move the sprinkler over and over and over again to keep it wet. It took forever to come up and the weeds took over, but we were excited to finally see the little grass seeds shoot up. The kids were troopers helping me get it planted and Rhett was my best helper and keeping the sprinkler moved all summer long!
And we finished planting it just in time for this gorgeous sunset! Idaho seriously has the best sunsets!
