Oakley was able to go with her clogging team on tour to Tuachan in St. George, UT this summer. It was a blast and the weather was absolutely beautiful! The girls were able to preshow for two nights. The first night was our favorite because the show that we got to stay and watch was Newsies. SOOO GOOD! The second night we preshowed for Shrek. Good...not our favorite though. Still so fun!
We got to do a backstage tour. It was neat to see the way they pull off such big productions.
While we were there we also got to do some dance clinics. We did a hip hop one at a local studio and a tap one with the lady from New York who choreographed the tap routines for the Newsies production.
Great Grandpa and Grandma Romrell traveled down to watch the girls perform and the Newsies show. They are seriously THE BEST!! We are SO VERY BLESSED to have such GREAT great grandparents! They brought Kiana and Ciara with them which was also super fun!
My niece Ali happened to be at her friend Erin's house in St. George while we were there and so she got to ride home with us. Oakley and Ali are seriously two peas in a pod. They LOVE being together and so spending 8 hours in a car was no big deal! We did have this funny thing happen. We stopped for lunch at an Artic Cirlce and when they brought us out our food this is what our fries looked like! There were SO MANY and they didn't even try to put them in the bags!! We laughed SO HARD WE CRIED!! It was hilarious!! And of course after a little lunch these two cuties were ready for a nap. Sure love spending time with my kids. I'd follow them anywhere they want to go!
