This is the first elk either of my boys have shot and Rhett was the lucky one who got him. I asked him why he wasn't holding the antlers or atleast standing closer to it when they took the picture. His response was, "Well, he was actually still alive!" Yikes! Glad they were careful and I'm proud of Rhett for shooting him. Ryan said his shot was perfect!
