Michael and Tyler came into our lives through the missionaries in January 2018. We had them over for almost every Monday night FHE from then on. They are great boys stuck in a crappy situation. In August they went on a trip to Indiana and on the way home Michael had the opportunity to spend a month with his mom in Colorado whom he hadn't seen in years so he took it. Tyler came back to Idaho with his uncle to pack up and prepare to move back to Indiana to live with family there. We were able to take Tyler on one last FHE adventure. We wanted it to be a place he would remember, so we decided to take him to the visitors center by the temple. As we pulled in and jumped out of the car I heard someone yell, "Sister Hawkins!" When I turned around it was Elder Davis. Elder Davis baptized Tyler! It was seriously a tender mercy of the Lord that he just happened to be at the visitors center the same time we took Tyler just before Tyler moved. It gave them a chance to say goodbye. Heavenly Father has his hand in our lives. What a special night!
